The traditional focus of the diet is around lean meat sources, seeds, nuts, and fresh fruits and vegetables, while grains, legumes, while all processed foods are very shunned.

The factory behind this diet is that if it doesn't grow in the ground or cannot be caught in the wild, you should be avoiding putting that food into your body.

Due to the fact that grains and other carbohydrate rich foods are quite limited, this does mean it will be slightly lower carb in nature, but since fruit is not restricted at all on the coming and is as a matter of fact encouraged, it's not nearly as low carb as some of the other diet plans on the market.

All in all this diet is very rich in nutrients so will not only keep great weight loss results but also as a matter of fact help from a condition promotion perspective. You'll get important fatty acids and other healthy fats, a high number of antioxidants and fiber, and sufficient lean protein to keep your lean muscle tissue.

  • Those who are very athletic may struggle to get sufficient carbohydrates in straight through just fruit alone
  • If you make poor protein choices you could end up taking in more saturated fat than you should

The Verdict

Overall, this diet plan is one that you should strongly consider. In my conception it is the best of all the diets I have reviewed straight through my new diet series. From a weight loss point of view, it can as a matter of fact be very effective provided you are sure to moderate your intake of healthy fats. Nuts, seeds, and avocados are very encouraged on this diet plan but do keep in mind these are very calorie dense foods, so if you eat too many of them throughout the day you could suffer weight gain because of it.
